少女汉娜（伊斯曼·葛雷德·迈尔斯 Esme Creed-Miles 饰）和父亲埃里克（乔尔·金纳曼 Joel Kinnaman 饰）生活在靠近北极圈的冰原森林之中，父女两人相依为命，过着离群索居的生活。埃里克曾经是一名为CIA效命的特工，拥有矫健的身手和丰富的经验，现如今，虽然他早已离开了组织，但是一直没有放弃过对女儿进行特种训练，因为他明白，对于汉娜来说，现在所学到的一切都将在日后派的上用场。
